Off Set Bearing Covers are usually used to cover off-set bearings, although they can be used to protect anything as long as the cover is large enough. They are usually fastened to the structure the bearing is attached to by the flange, by drilling two holes in the flange and the underlying structure and using self-tapping screws or nuts and bolts. Part of the flange can be trimmed off if there are interference issues. All dimensions are measured from the inside at the smallest point.

  1. Begin by finding the height of the space you need covered. Guards are measured in inches from their inside dimensions. Dimension (A)
  2. Next, find the necessary width and length. Dimension (B & C)
  3. Measure the height necessary to cover the shaft. Dimension (J)
  4. Finally, measure the inside diameter. Dimension (L)
